Hello everyone !
We're glad to invite all of you to our next screening, this time subbed in english: the first five episodes of Gate. As usual, we will have a food stall with cup ramen and udon, japanese and east-asian Ice Tea. The screening will be on Wednesday 28th of August, in the in the CO2 auditorium, at 19:00, with the food stall opening at 18:30!
Here is the synopsis :
Sometime during the 21st century, a portal to an other world opens in Ginza, Tokyo. Roman-styled infantrymen, horse riders, and monsters pour out of it and turn the shopping district into blood bath. Quickly, JSDF, Japanese Self-Defence Force, manages to push back the invaders and to secure the portal.
The japanese government sends a small group of elite JSDF soldiers to the other side, the so called "Special Region", where magic, Gods and fantasy creatures are part of the daily life. There they will explore this new world, conduct peace negotiations and humanitarian missions.
On the other side, world powers are conspiring to take from Japan the control of the portal, as they covet the Special Region's untouched ressources...
