A collection of some twenty sculptures punctuates the construction of the EPFL Campus from the late 1970s to the mid-2010s. They form a significant group of works of art created in Switzerland over the last 40 years. Often linked to the architecture of the buildings, they also express the main artistic trends in Swiss art in the public space: abstraction, geometry, minimalism, concrete art, colourism and movement.
Véronique Mauron Layaz, art historian and head of the CDH-Culture, invites visitors to (re)discover these works, most of which resonate with the architecture of the buildings constructed since the late 1970s.
