It’s our pleasure to announce the second meeting of the Parent Network for Doctoral Candidates and Postdocs on February 1st at 12h15 in room CO216 - Feel free to bring your lunch!
Theme: How to manage early-stage childhood in Switzerland and at EPFL
Patricia Plaza Gruber, director of FAPE, will give a presentation about the most relevant topics, followed by a discussion and an exchange moderated by Seniz.
The Parent Network aims to bring together doctoral candidates and postdocs - who are combining early stage academic career while having children - to exchange information, experience and advice and to serve as a support network for the times when it feels too challenging. Through regular meetings, you can share your parental triumphs and hardships, discuss policies at EPFL, and maybe even set up play dates for your kids!
If you wish to suggest a topic for further meetings or want to leave your name for networking purpose, have a look at the google sheet or on our website.
