Unlike a decade ago, now software is everywhere and everything. What will software be like a decade from now? Will it deliver on the promise of replacing monotonous human work? Will we be able to depend on software doing the right thing, being always available to answer our questions, and malleable enough to quickly adapt to new needs? After tremendous theoretical and engineering breakthroughs over the last decade, we contend that the answer is yes.
At the 2018 IC Research Day, world-leading experts will present and discuss their work toward achieving these goals. EPFL researchers will showcase ongoing research projects and engage with the audience.
