Title:
AI+Transportation = Mobility for all

Abstract
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is a powerful field that is poised to reshape transportation, i.e., how we move humans and good to their destinations with autonomous vehicles or robots. But Transportation is also a powerful field that can suggest a new AI. In this talk, I will show how both fields can help each other to make mobility a safe commodity for all.

About the speaker
Alexandre Alahi is leading the Visual Intelligence for Transportation laboratory (VITA). Before joining EPFL in 2017, he was a Post-doc and Research Scientist at Stanford University in the AI labs. His research lies at the intersection of Computer Vision, Machine Learning, and Robotics applied to transportation & mobility.
