Disruptive innovation requires close collaboration of open-minded engineers, scientists and managers. Rapidly developing movement of Biohacking and in particular DIY biology became a cradle of cutting edge ideas. The concept of Biohacking that seemed bizarre at the beginning is attracting more and more attention with a number of disruptive projects emerging from interdisciplinary teams in the DIY centers in USA and Europe. Bioprinters, Algae for Bioremediation, WetPong – these are just a few projects that were developed in the most famous BioHacking communities. Then join us on the 28th of April at the Hackuarium (UniverCité) and you will find out about BioDesign, Octanis and many other highly innovative cross disciplinary projects taking place in the heart of Switzerland.
