Introduction to Component and Circuit Design with Lumerical Tools

Abstract: Disruptive photonic technologies, made possible by simulation software tools, are dramatically altering the world we live in. In this talk, we will discuss how Lumerical simulation tools enable complex Multiphysics workflows to address a wide range of applications, from nano-photonic components to parameter extraction and compact model generation for circuit and system modeling.

Bio: Greg Baethge is a Support Engineer at Lumerical Inc. Based in Europe, he is providing training and technical support for customers. He holds a MSc in Engineering Physics from Telecom Physique Strasbourg/Université Louis Pasteur, France. Prior to joining Lumerical Solutions, he was involved in several Photonics R&D collaborative projects with academic and industrial partners.
