In 2019, the Swiss Data Science Center (SDSC) awarded fellowships to ten PhD students working on various aspects of data science theory and methods at EPFL and ETH Zürich, from statistics to computer vision, including machine learning, statistical signal processing, and natural language processing.

We are pleased to organize a workshop providing a forum of exchange on methods in data science and an opportunity for five of these fellows to present their work in person.

We would also like to like to invite any EPFL PhD students and postdocs working in various areas of methods of data science to present a poster in the afternoon poster session (registration is necessary).

On that occasion, we will be happy to communicate the new list of PhD students who received the same SDSC fellowship in 2022.

Please note that registration is mandatory for this event.

Program:
10:45 - Foreword and session opening – Dr. Guillaume Obozinski, Deputy Chief Data Scientist, SDSC
