Everyone has their own connection, their own screen, their own AI that is always flattering, immediately available, and supposedly omniscient: technology is designed for individualized use, reducing constraints, frustrations, and obstacles as much as possible… This is everything that relationships with others are not. Is an increasingly techno-centered world an increasingly egocentric and narcissistic world?
With:
- Bruno Lemaître, Immunologist, professor at EPFL, and author of several books on the subject of narcissism in society and science.
- Claire Balleys, Sociologist, professor at UNIGE, director of Medialab (Institute of Communication Sciences and Digital Cultures).
Moderation: Anne Laure Gannac, journalist at the EPFL College of Humanities and RTS.
