Dr. Rachel Won, Edtior at Nature Publishing Group, Visiting Lecturer EPFL Bio: Rachel joined Nature Photonics in June 2006 from Aston University's Business Partnership Unit in Birmingham, UK where she worked as a Medici Fellow commercializing photonics research. She obtained her PhD in optical fibre sensing, microwave photonics and fibre nonlinearities as a member of Aston's Photonics Research Group. Prior to that, Rachel worked for Philips Optical Storage in Singapore as an Optics Engineer. She holds a Master's degree from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore and a Bachelor's degree from the National University of Malaysia. |

Thanks to the OSA Visiting Lecturer Program, the EPFL Photonics Chapter (EPC) is proud to present as part of its distinguished lecturer series: “MANUSCRIPT PREPARATION & SUBMISSION” (On how to write a good paper and get published in Nature Journals), by Dr. Rachel Won (International Editor, Nature Photonics).
The lecture is open for all students, PhDs, scientific collaborators or faculty and everyone who is interested. It will take place on June 9th, 2015 (Tuesday) at 17h15 in CE3. It will be followed by a small apero, to which you are cordially invited. Hope to see you there.
