Multivariate Cryptography has been proposed as an alternative to classical public-key schemes such as ElGamal and RSA. One of the most appealing feature these schemes is that the difficult problem on which they are based is difficult even for quantum computers. However, differential cryptanalysis has been used with success on some of these schemes. In this talk, we will discuss some of these attacks and new algorithms for solving the key recovery problem.
