The prestigious national award honors outstanding initiatives that advance openness, reproducibility, and the reuse of research data. Researchers and teams are invited to submit their projects by 31 July 2025. The EPFL Library team offers support with expert review and feedback on researchers' applications.
Are you pioneering innovative practices in Open Research Data (ORD)? The National ORD Prize is your opportunity to gain national recognition for your contributions to Open Science.
Since 2023, the Swiss Academies of Arts and Sciences have awarded the National Open Research Data (ORD) Prize to recognize innovative practices in open research data. Part of the national Action Plan for Open Research Data, the prize supports the transition toward more open, transparent, and collaborative research - benefiting both science and society.
Who can apply?
Researchers or teams based in Switzerland who are implementing innovative, impactful ORD practices.
