The 23rd Night of Museums promises to be as luminous as the northern lights…and its reflection in the water!

At Archizoom, you’ll take part in a series of events related to the exhibition Water design: l’eau dessine la ville.

Thinking about water means thinking about life, space and power relations. Through “The Flon Trial” and two guided tours, we invites you to reflect on the new relationships between water, territory and humanity.

Saturday 21 September, 2 p.m. — midnight
Exhibition open continuously

The Flon Trial, 6 p.m.
For the recognition of legal personhood for the Flon River, to restore its right to flow through the city of Lausanne on the surface. A theatrical trial-debate centered around the project “Where is the River?” by Affluent collective. Join the debate with urban planners, landscape architects, hydrologists, political figures, and legal experts.

Guided Tours of the exhibition, 4 & 8.30 p.m.
In 30 minutes, we offer you an overview of the extensive genealogy of water, presented for the first time at EPFL. To view water as a living subject, rather than as an object to be drained or channeled. A new paradigm for today’s urban, landscape, territorial, and architectural projects.
