To whom? PhD candidate and postdoc parents and future parents
The Parent Network for Doctoral Candidates and Postdocs aims to bring together doctoral candidate and postdoc parents & future parents to exchange information, experiences and advice, and to act as a support network when it feels too challenging to combine early stage academic career with parenthood. Through regular meetings, you can share your parental triumphs and hardships, discuss policies at EPFL, and maybe even set up play dates for your kids!
The next meeting will take place on Thursday June 13 at 12h15 in room CO 216 on the topic: Parenting in Academia.
We will have an informal discussion about the issues you might have at EPFL as a PhD candidate or postdoc parent, with the aim of exchanging best practices and seeing if any solutions can be found.
