Preparing my professional future

A rapidly changing world requires agility and self-awareness. Two workshops will be offered to allow you to reflect on your employability and clarify your professional objectives. We will focus on developing the necessary skills and motivation for successful personal development, encouraging you to step out of your comfort zone in order to explore your options. The goal is to better navigate the constantly evolving job market and make informed decisions about your next steps professionally. So, how ready are you for the future?

Day 1 - Enhance my employability:
The digital transformation of companies has highlighted a growing gap between the skills in demand and the skills available. To tackle this challenge and support your professional development, this module will allow you to evaluate your employability and your ability to remain competitive in the job market, sustain a position, and grow throughout your professional life.

Day 2 - Define my professional objectives:
Having a well-defined professional objective will allow you to be proactive and clear on what you want to achieve now or in the next few years. How can you start such a project? Your professional objective must take into consideration personal elements (your motivation, your aspirations, your skills and abilities) and contextual elements (the possibilities offered by EPFL, the job market and its constraints) and will allow you to answer these questions: What do I want to do? What does the institution/position expect of me?
