Abstract:
The first part of the lecture will be focused on the basics of diffraction and spectroscopic experiments with synchrotron radiation. In the second part, Dr Chernyshov will use many examples to show the methods in practice for hydrogen storage materials, electrochemical processes, solid-state batteries, MOFs, catalysis, and some other case studies. Finally, experimental opportunities offered by Swiss-Norwegian Beamlines will be reviewed together with the user policy and practical aspects of beam time allocation.
