QuantERA is a consortium of national/regional research organisations supporting research projects in Quantum Technology. The 2019 call addresses the following topics: Quantum communication, Quantum simulation, Quantum computation, Quantum information sciences, as well as Quantum metrology sensing and imaging.
Deadline for submitting pre-proposals and proposals: February 18th, 2019, 17.00 CET
Thematic scope of proposals should include one or more of the following areas:
- Quantum communication
- Quantum simulation
- Quantum computation
- Quantum information sciences
- Quantum metrology sensing and imaging
Applications can be submitted by international consortia that include researchers from at least three of the following countries: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Israel, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey and United Kingdom.
The pre-proposals and thereafter full proposals will be evaluated scientifically by an international evaluation panel. The partners of an international consortium are supported by the funding organisations of their respective countries or regions. Applicants from Switzerland must be eligible for the funding scheme "project funding" of the SNSF.
In parallel with the submission to QuantERA, you need to submit an application to the SNSF via mySNF (under Programmes/ERA-NET).
