Abstract: The Liouville-Arnold theorem gives the existence of local action-angle coordinates near regular orbits of a completely integrable Hamiltonian system. The global counterpart to action variables is an integral affine structure, as observed by Duistermaat and Nekhoroshev independently. In this talk, we shall introduce a notion of singular integral affine structures (still smooth in some sense) for focus-focus singularities, which have recently come to the fore for their topological, geometric and symplectic properties. This is joint work in progress with Rui Loja Fernandes.
