[SNSF Advanced Grants 2022 | Research funding - Call opening]

Since Switzerland remains for the moment not-associated to Horizon Europe, the 'SNSF Advanced Grants 2022' is aimed at researchers who intended to apply for an ERC Advanced Grant. Scientists of any nationality who want to pursue innovative, ground-breaking, high-risk / high-gain research in Switzerland can apply for an SNSF Advanced Grant.

SNSF Advanced Grants are awarded up to a maximum of CHF 2.175 million for a period of up to 5 years (without 15% overhead, which are paid directly to the host institution). Additional funding up to CHF 870'000 (without 15% overhead) may be requested under certain conditions.

DEADLINE: Applicants must pre-register by 1 October 2022 and provide the following information via mySNF (www.mysnf.ch): Summary of the application, host institution, disciplines and keywords. The application deadline is 2 November 2022.

ELIGIBILITY: The scheme is open to all disciplines and topics. Applicants must have a track record of outstanding research over the past ten years and must be recognised as leaders in their field.
Important note: Applicants whose projects were rejected in the first step of evaluation for the SNSF Advanced Grants 2021 call are not eligible to take part in the SNSF Advanced Grants 2022 call.
