[SNSF Starting Grants 2023 | Research funding - Call opening]
Due to Switzerland’s current status as a non-associated third country in Horizon Europe, the Swiss government has mandated the SNSF to launch the SNSF Starting Grants 2023. Applicants can request a budget of up to CHF 1.8 million for a period of five years. This funding scheme replaces the ERC Starting Grants 2023 and the SNSF Professorial Fellowships 2023.
DEADLINE: 1 February 2023
ELIGIBILITY: The scheme is open to all disciplines and topics for postdocs and professors. Applicants must have achieved scientific independence and contributed to impactful research. Applicants must be between 2 and 8 years after their PhD defence or equivalent or between 5 and 12 years after their medical degree.
HOW TO APPLY: Project proposals must be submitted via mySNF. You can find here the EPFL Toolkit.
