This online workshop occurs over 2 half days. You must attend both to obtain an attestation of participation.
By focusing on EXPLAINING, this workshop will develop your ability to:
- Structure a lesson that is consistent with the learning intentions
- Be confident in your ability to explain complex ideas clearly.
- Encourage participation and respond to student questions.
- Prepare the lesson supports adequate to your teaching scenario (black/ white board, slides, simulations, etc.)
Note: This workshop is independent but complementary to the other 3 in the series (Labs, Projects and Presenting). You are welcome to attend as many as you like, in any order you like.
