Wolf's Rain

Wolf's Rain is a story about four wolves and a flower, who search for Paradise.

According to an old legend, when the end of the world comes, the gateway to Paradise will appear. However, only wolves will know how to find it. Although wolves are believed to have been hunted to extinction nearly two hundred years ago, they still exist, surviving by casting illusions over themselves to make them appear human.

Freeze City is an impoverished human city under callous rule. Kiba, an injured lone white wolf, finds himself drawn to this city, following the scent of the Lunar Flower, the key to opening Paradise. He encounters Tsume, Hige and Toboe, three other wolves who live there.

Cheza, the Flower Maiden who is destined to lead the wolves to Paradise, is being studied at a laboratory in what appears to be suspended animation. Cheza soon awakens to the smell of wolf's blood and the search for Paradise may begin.
