We have the honour of welcoming Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Prof. Muhammad Yunus’ for an official visit on the EPFL campus. As part of his visit on the EPFL campus, you will have the opportunity to attend a public conference titled ‘Social business for a world of three zeros: zero poverty, zero unemployment and zero net carbon emissions’.
 
Prof. Muhammad Yunus is a Bangladeshi social entrepreneur, banker, economist, and civil society leader who was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 2006 for founding the Grameen Bank and pioneering the concepts of microfinance and social business. Prof. Muhammad Yunus created the idea of ‘Social Business’ to solve the global social problems in health, education and poverty.
