EPFL Quantum Hackathon

The EPFL Quantum Hackathon, February 27-March 1, 2026, is organized by team of EPFL students passionate about quantum science, from algorithms to hardware. 

Join us for a fun weekend of building, learning, and tackling cool quantum challenges alongside brilliant, like-minded people (and possibly winning some cool prizes!). We welcome bachelor’s, master’s and PhD students with different study backgrounds (Physics, Computer science, Electrical/Mechanical engineering, Quantum science, etc…) and who come from different universities. New to quantum? No problem. Your curiosity is enough, come hack with us!

Please note: Because of logistics, a max. of 60 students can participate in the 2026 edition of the QPFL hackathon. After submission of the registration form, you will receive an email in the coming weeks confirming your participation. Please note that we cannot guarantee acceptance to everyone who applies. Deadline to apply: January 23, 2026.
