Exoskeleton Day • Optimization of Exoskeleton Design through Exploration of Ergonomic Principles and Control Modes
Through interactive discussions, case studies, and practical exercises, participants will gain insights into optimizing exoskeletons for enhanced mobility and user interaction, ultimately aiming to improve the quality of life for individuals with mobility impairments.
Objectives
• Explore ergonomic design principles in exoskeletons for promoting comfort, natural movement, and reduced fatigue.
• Explore various control modalities and their integration into exoskeletons to facilitate seamless user interaction and functionality.
• Analyze case studies of existing exoskeleton designs to identify weaknesses, and opportunities for improvement.
• Collaboratively brainstorm innovative solutions to address common ergonomic challenges and optimize control systems for assistive robotics applications.
• Foster interdisciplinary collaboration and knowledge exchange among researchers, engineers, practitioners, and end users in the field of assistive robotics.
Agenda:
09:00 – 10:00 AM Welcome and Networking
10:00 – 10:30 Introduction to Case Studies
10:30 – 11:30 Panel on Case Study 1: Optimization of Ergonomic Design
11:30 – 12:30 Panel on Case Study 2: Integration of Control System
