Within the frame of FIFDH (Geneva International Film Festival and Forum on Human Rights), the association Ingénieurs du Monde and ArtLab are organizing a special screening of the documentary The Great Hack (2019, USA, by Karim Amer and Jehane Noujaim) at EPFL.    The Great Hack takes tells the rise and fall of Cambridge Analytica, a company specialized in big data analysis and political communication. The documentary takes a closer look at the sale of Facebook data to this British company and how it has influenced the 2016 US presidential election and the Brexit campaign.  This movie was nominated "Best Documentary Film" at the BAFTA 2020 (British Academy Film Awards).
