May 17 is the International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia and Transphobia, also known as IDAHOBIT. Celebrated around the world, this date was chosen to commemorate the decision of the World Health Organisation (WHO) on 17 May 1990 to no longer consider homosexuality a mental illness.
On this occasion, the Equal Opportunity Office (VPT-EGA), in collaboration with the association PlanQueer, invites you to a constructive exchange about the needs and obstacles faced by LGBTQIA+ people at EPFL. Details of the Inclusive Name Change project will be discussed.
Open to all members of the community, this event will offer some vegan and vegetarian snacks and your picnic is welcome.
In the morning, community members will discover 8 informative panels on the Esplanade.
