The SKIL (Student Kreativity and Innovation Laboratory) is a custom-made experimental infrastructure for students which has been initiated and established by the ENAC School - essentially a big, well-equipped workshop and co-working space in which students can set their creativity free, aided and coached by other students and professional SKIL staff. This dedicated (maker)space offers access to a vast array of materials and technical capabilities that will make it possible to transform students’ ideas into reality, be it physical or digital.
This pilot project based on EPFL campus opens its doors to the EPFL community on 24 September 2018. Come on and visit the space, discover the first projects initiated in this laboratory and learn about access and available tools.
This official inauguration of the SKIL will be driven by short introductions given by Prof. Andrew Barry, ENAC Dean a.i., Prof. Marilyne Andersen, SKIL project initiator and Prof. Anders Meibom, Academic Head of SKIL. After these welcome notes, you will have the opportunity to freely visit the space and enjoy a small aperitif.
