We are pleased to announce the launch of the CO2 Calculator, a new open-source tool developed by EPFL Sustainability, in collaboration with ENAC-IT and the DSI. The calculator is part of EPFL's Climate & Sustainability Strategy 2030 and the Green Labs initiative.
Designed for research activities, the CO2 Calculator enables labs and project teams to estimate and better understand the carbon emissions of their work. By highlighting the main sources of emissions, it helps users identify and explore practical measures to reduce them.
The tool will be available online from September 28, 2026.
Launch event: September 28, 2026, from 12:00 to 2:00 pm
