Mobile sensing applied to psychology research: Challenges and Opportunities The talk will describe how sensing has extended to mobile computing through the use of mobile phones to monitor everyday activities of users. I will describe how various sensors on the phone can be used and be combined to monitor activity and the various projects which have started to use the approach. In particular i will describe our work EmotionSense which allows the sensing of user behaviour and mood to help social psychology research. I will further illustrate how this could be integrated into mobile social network applications. Prof. Mascolo's homepage
