The Doctoral School is glad to invite ALL NEW PhD candidates to a PhD Welcome & Networking Event:
When: November 4th, 2024 at 16h - 18h
Where: Forum Rolex on the Lausanne campus
What: Learn about your PhD (see below), meet your colleagues and peers and ... have fun!
How: Register via this Google form (important: you need to login with your @epfl.ch e-mail address)
What to expect:
• Brief informational sessions to bring you up to speed about your PhD journey, resources and services available at EPFL
• Testimonials from current EPFL PhD fellows
• Introduction of the services and associations available on campus, and the opportunity to ask directly any questions you may have about your studies and life in Switzerland (Students' Services Desk, Research Office, Technology Transfer Office, EPFL Library, Trust and Support Network, Polydoc,, ...)
• Free food & drinks, and a chance to mingle with PhD candidates from all our programs and campuses!
We especially encourage the new PhD candidates working outside Lausanne to join – this event is a golden opportunity to discover the Lausanne campus and meet your peers. If you need travel support please contact us via the Registration Form.
