The Doctoral School invites you to join the EPFL PhD community for a PhD Welcome & Networking Event, to meet your peers and discover PhD life at EPFL.
When: November 20, 2023 from 3pm
Where: Forum Rolex on the Lausanne campus
How: Register via THIS G-FORM (important: you need to login to Google with your @epfl.ch e-mail address)
What to expect:
• Brief informational sessions to bring you up to speed about your PhD journey, life in Switzerland, and resources available to you at EPFL
• Testimonials from current EPFL PhD candidates and PhD representatives
• Panel discussion + Q&A with members of the community and heads of services to answer any questions you may have
• Exposition of services available on campus: Students' Services Desk, Research Office, Technology Transfer Office, EPFL Library, Trust and Support Network, Teaching Support Center, Associations (Polydoc, ACIDE), and more ...
• Free food & drinks, and a chance to meet and mingle with PhD candidates from all our campuses ... and beyond!
We especially encourage the new PhDs working outside Lausanne to join – this event is a golden opportunity for you to discover the Lausanne campus and meet your peers. If you need travel support please contact us via the REGISTRATION G-FORM.
