During this presentation, Alexandre Roulin, professor in the department of ecology and evolution at UNIL, gives a brief introduction to barn owl biology. Barn owls are one of the few species that are present on all continents, and their behaviour is of surprising complexity. Furthermore, during his work with the barn owl, Alexandre Roulin had the opportunity to create interesting collaborations in the Middle East - with the barn owl taking the role of the peace dove.
