Who can apply:
- Project Funding schemes may be applied for by independent researchers individually or in collaboration
- SNSF Projects can be held by one or more applicants
- Single-applicant projects: Disciplinary OR Interdisciplinary projects
- Collaborative projects: Disciplinary OR Interdisciplinary projects
- Minimum: CHF 100’000 / project
- Maximum: limited to CHF 250’000 / year & applicant
- Total maximum: CHF 4M over 4 years (for 4 or more applicants)
- Applicants freely divide the grant among themselves
- Foreign applicants may not receive more than their mathematical share (1/n with n applicants)
- Minimum: 1 year
- Maximum: 4 years
- Personnel costs
- Research costs
- Equipment
- Expenses of third parties, project partners and subcontractors
- Do NOT INCLUDE overheads in the budget
