With humanity depending more on more on modern machines and personalized data, how is artificial intelligence being used to our advantage, or disadvantage, in everyday life? Can owners of artificial intelligence and data be trusted? Experts from French-speaking Switzerland in data analysis, robotics and society, debate the relevance of AI in their own research and implications for society.

This roundtable is followed by a concert that combines artificial intelligence and creativity. The Ada String Quartet plays an entirely new repertoire, composed by a musical composition tool. Discover the functioning and limits of algorithms that generate music. This project is the result of the Neuromimetic Computation Laboratory led by Wulfram Gerstner and presented by Florian Colombo, PhD assistant.
