We’ve all heard of the sorting hat, the dreaded first step at any wizarding school worth its salt, but have you ever wondered what type of sorting algorithm it uses? Do you think you can code it more efficiently?

The Helvetic coding contest known as HC² is the biggest competitive programming contest in Switzerland. Held over one day on the EPFL campus, it attracts over 200 participants with a passion for programming. After 4 years of absence, this year for the first time, the Polympiads association is organizing the event on Saturday April 13, 2024. 

With problems of all levels join us this spring to explore the magical world of competitive programming. Register with a team of 3 people (all the teammates should register). The registration fee is 10 CHF per person to be paid by bank transfer. More details in the registration form. You'll get your money's worth as it incloudes goodies, lunch, snacks and more.
